Pokemon Legends: Z-A Guide "Main Mission 39 - The Infinite Z-A Royale"

This is part of our extensive guide to Pokemon Legends: Z-A


NOTE: I went with a male presenting character so my character's bestie will be Taunie. If you went with one of the more female presenting ones you'll be friends with Urbain instead.



For this mission we're going to need to head on over to the Quasartico Inc building. But first you need to make sure you got a Z-A Royale ticket so get to night battling first then come back.


Your first opponent in the Z-A Royale is...are you kidding me.

Starting back with Zach huh? Well, let's throw him in the trunk.



Zach the Driver uses:


  • Slowpoke

  • Pidgey

  • Pikachu


These are all level 10ish so you don't even need weaknesses. Just hit them once with anything. Yeesh.



After that, for claiming your first reward they had you a Big Nugget (which is the Pokemon equivalent of paying someone under the table). As well as 10 Exp. Candy Ms.


Suddenly, Lida calls you and tells you you need to get back to Hotel Z NOW. Fast Travel time.

Once inside you're met by L. He is incredibly saddened by the loss of AZ and how he was alone at the time of his death which, yeah, same. They shares a similar topic of conversation, he and AZ about the agony of being unable to die. Metal.


He then states that after his time with you in Lysandre Labs, more of his memories returned. He remembered the existence of two beings. The one that gives, the one that takes. I know them!


He explains that Zygarde has not been seen since the big Agne night and that he's still trying to get his memories clearer. He tasks you to find the two of which he spoke which, come on, that HAS to be Xerneas and Yveltal right? RIGHT?


Lida then, once again, has the best line.

Naveen has the idea that maybe you should go chat with people from Team Flare regarding the two Pokemon you're tasked with finding despite having no info on. This gives you two more missions:




When you're done with both, meet back at Hotel Z (you won't be prompted to) and L will meet you before you can go inside. He speaks of how as he gets his memories back he realized he had done too much, and how he's thankful for Zygarde teaching him about balance.


L then asks for you to battle him.

Afterwards, continue about the Z-A tournaments. Getting tickets and all that until you can get your next opponent which is:

Griselle of Team Flare Nouveau uses:


  • Talonflame (weak to Rock, Electric, Water)

  • Camerupt (weak to Ground, Water)

  • Aerodactyl (weak to Rock, Electric, Ice, Water, Steel)

  • Metagross (weak to Dark, Ground, Ghost, Fire)

  • Mega Pyroar (weak to Water, Fighting, Ground, Rock)
