This is part of our extensive guide to Pokemon Legends: Z-A
NOTE: I went with a male presenting character so my character's bestie will be Taunie. If you went with one of the more female presenting ones you'll be friends with Urbain instead.
Alright, so for this one we need to go talk to the Team Flare edgelords over in Nouveau Cafe about the Legendary Pokemon known as "The One That Takes".
Once there Griselle is awesome as always. I love her.

Grisham lets me know that I'd need to meet them over at Quasartico if we're going to get anywhere so fast travel time. Once inside meet up with Vinnie who lets you know that a flying object has been detected flying towards the city and that that object is absolutely Yveltal.
Vinnie states that they have a training device that allows you to battle virtual Pokemon and that he suggests you train against Victreebel, Hawlucha, and Tyranitar in the Rogue Mega-Evolved States. BOSS RUSH!

Talk to Vinnie when you're ready. It'll let you pick but I'm going to go in order.
Rouge Mega Victreebel

Weak to Flying, Fire, Psychic, Ice
As a reminder, Mega Victreebel's big moves are shooting poison puddles everywhere that heavily poison any Pokemon that runs through it as well as a long chain of Bullet Seeds.
Rouge Mega Hawlucha

Weak to Electric, Flying, Ice, Psychic, Fairy
As a reminder this one is REALLY easy for a Mega Froslass. It'll do some easy to dodge Air Slashes, and the big thing to keep in mind is when it charges with yellow energy hit it hard. You can cancel out the big attack every time hitting it with a Super Effective move.
Rouge Mega Tyranitar

Weak to Fighting, Fairy, Ground, Grass, Bug, Water, Steel
As a reminder, the biggest thing to watch for Tyranitar are the lines of ground spikes you can dodge roll away from and the big charging attack that causes a massive Earthquake shockwave. That one you should just put your Pokemon away and run.
Afterwards Vinnie congratulates you then gets a call finding out that Yveltal is on the roof of the Galerie de la Lune in the Rouge District. So head on over.

Once there, there's scaffolding on the north side of the building that'll get you roof access. Head on up. It'll be waiting for you on the dome. Now go fight it.
Yveltal is weak to Fairy, Rock, Electric, Ice.
I managed to catch the thing in a Timer Ball (because aesthetics are important) and Grisham and Griselle show up on the roof congratulating me.
Mission Complete! Enjoy that Legendary!
