Gunnar's Tahoe is easily my favorite pair of blue blocker glasses ever.

A pair of black bluelight blocking glasses rest on top of their black leather carrying case.

I've been a fan of Gunnar's for a good while. Ever since my first LED television came with some incredibly high definition headaches. And thanks to the good folks at Gunnar I've been able to try on a LOT of them.

I even ranked a few of their coolest collaboration glasses, if'n you're interested.

But after years of wearing different Gunnars I think I've finally found my favorite with Gunnar's Tahoe Blue Light glasses. So much so that I take them to work with me to cut back on the light from the screens there.

And I have no problem doing that because these guys are amazing. Wearing a lot of the other Gunnars I've had comments about them looking "cool" and "neat". But these things got people telling me I looked "good" in them.

First off, these things are beautiful. They got these metallic bumpy bits on the nose and arms of the glasses that really make them pop without being ostentatious. They're also really fun to fidget with while reading.

A close up of the bridge of a pair of black glasses. On the top is a silver area with little square pyramid style bumps.

But also the lenses themselves, which are made out of the same mineral glass material that high end cameras and telescopes use, have this beautiful blue reflection to them that keeps getting people's attention.

The spring hinges at the arms make the glasses feel like they're staying on your head with a gentle hug more than they are by putting weight on your bridge and ears.

And the almost unnecessarily high end materials used to make the frames are so sturdy you are never afraid to wear it out and about. Well, except for one bit.

The Tahoes, while being my favorite, are also some of the most expensive. At $250 USD they will set you back a bit. But...that being said, they FEEL like you're wearing $250 glasses. Hell, they feel like you're wearing glasses that cost WAY more. They feel sturdy, comfortable, and damn near invincible.

If you're interested, go check them out here. Just note that these frames do not come in prescription.
