Cozy game and simulator lovers, rejoice! Spray Pain Simulator is here to let you spray paint away your anxiety and fears.
Spray Pain Simulator is the newest game by North Star Video Games, and was just released on May 29th for the PC, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox X/S, Xbox One, Xbox GamePass and will be releasing on the Nintendo Switch on June 19th. It combines the laid back vibes of a cozy game and the excitement of a simulator by letting you spray paint things like cars and kitchen cabinets at your own pace and in different modes: a Story Mode and a Free Spray Mode. And, adding to the fun, Free Spray Mode can be enjoyed as both a solo or multiplayer experience.

Spray Paint Simulator Review
In Story Mode, you go from job to job varying in both types and difficulty while being paid for a job well done. The best thing is, you can play it at your own leisure and not against a clock. You can play with the colors you purchase at the store, there are plenty of equipment pieces to collect and buy, and you have everything you need to completely revamp the community of Splatterville at your disposal. In Free Spray Mode, you can let your inner child free and spray anything the way you want it either by yourself or with a friend.

I very much enjoyed spray painting things to perfection with different nozzles and in different angles. The process of masking things up with paper and tape prior to spray painting was actually pretty fun and allows you to check out the area or item you're spraying a little better before you start. The colors are beautiful and vibrant, and the mechanic of having to keep an eye on the battery and paint levels was pretty fun. It added to the immersion of the game and, at least in my experience, helped me figure out just how fast and how much to spray in an area to completely coat it so I wouldn't be running around with touch-ups later.

If you're a fan of simulator games, I definitely recommend picking up Spray Paint Simulator. It's fun, engaging, and will keep you entertained for a good while.
