Pokemon Legends: Z-A Mega Dimensions DLC Guide - "Hyperspace Mission 03 - Hyperspace Lumiose Survey No. 2"

NOTE: I went with a male presenting character so my character's bestie will be Taunie. If you went with one of the more female presenting ones you'll be friends with Urbain instead.

Shortly after the events of the previous Hyperspace Mission you get a call from Corbeau asking for you and Korrina to get back to his office.

When you get back to the office you're updated on what little information they've gathered. The portal over the tower is still a mystery though they've started calling it the "Hyperspace Rogue Mega Arena" so that's fun.

He also states that more portals have been showing up around the city and they're worried that if it happens to regularly that it will swallow the city. Vinnie, to help, gives you 20 Ultra Balls. I'd like to remind Vinnie that he works for one of the biggest companies ever and could give me WAY more WAY easily.

Now you have to get 10,000 Research Points to move forward.

One thing you'll notice now too is that there are portals that will just state "Unidentified Mega Stone detected." These are boss fights with Rogue Megas, just...you know...heads up.

Eventually, you'll hit the required amount and you'll be informed that there's a suspicious portal on a rooftop. Korrina will meet you there.

Make sure you're doing at least a 2-Star donut so you got plenty of time.

Once inside you'll find a Staraptor! Mega Staraptor is fun because it becomes Flying/Fighting though still super weak to electric type moves.

It's a fairly simple battle as long as you stay moving. Every so often it'll use a version of Fly over and over to try and hit you, get the timing down and roll dodge every time and you should be fine.

Once you capture it (I used a Luxury Ball since it looks like Staraptor) you get a Staraptite for your troubles.

Oh, and if you're worried, don't worry, of COURSE your dude picks up some butter with their barehands. You're gonna want to take this "Great Butter" back to Ansha. Why may or may not be hearing totally normal sounds from the portal over Lumiose.
