Pokemon Legends: Z-A Guide "Side Mission EX1 - Shine Bright Like a Gemstone"

For this one were going to head out to see our old pal Emma at Looker Bureau. Or, actually...Mimi, Emma's Espurr. It seems VERY interested in that weird Diancite I got from a recent Mystery Gift from the internet.

Mimi is, apparently, sensing some sort of psychic energy coming from it. Mimi then decides to just kinda take off.

Heading outside, make sure to turn your guidance on because unlike other follow missions, this dude did NOT wait for you and is all the way down by Rogue Sector 1 on the street. From there Emma calls someone named Sedna to gather two other people named Eris and Nix and to meet up with her. They're apparently other members of the detective agency we haven't gotten to see despite the fact that four detectives would have been REALLY useful earlier.

Suddenly, Espurr's Spi-purr sense starts tingling and it runs off again. Straight to the courtyard of Quasartico Inc. where the bread vendor is. A weird thing happens where Espurr starts unleashing psychic energy and you can read Emma's mind who, much like me when seeing bread, gets hungry.

After eating, Espurr runs off again, this time all the way to the Holovator near the Magenta Pokemon Center to the west. Guess we're heading up. Once up, head your way to the right along the roof tops until your reach the highest one that they're on top of. Boy, a lot of these pink stones all over the place.

Suddenly some Carbinks float down followed by...

You need to catch this one. Don't worry, if you accidentally defeat it and don't catch it you get to do the battle over with refilled health which is good because I wanna catch her in a Heal Ball for aesthetics. It takes about 5 tries because the Heal Ball has a terrible catch rate but eventually I get it.

After that you get a really interesting scene in which Emma tells you about a time when AZ witnessed the birth of Mega Evolutions and how it might have to do with the energy of the ultimate weapon, seemingly, firing through Diancie herself. Neat!
