For this one we're gonna head on over to Cafe La Wow.


This is going to be a...jesus christ...a 10-course battle banquet. Strap in.


By the way, this may seem intimidating but I'd remind you that during this side mission, if you lose you can start again for free meaning that if you want to spam this quest until you win you will get a TON of XP for doing so. Maybe have the six in your party you want to boost.


Anyways, let's do this.



01) Joelle the Gourmet uses:


  • Victreebell (weak to Psychic, Flying, Fire, Ice)

  • Scolipede (weak to Psychic, Rock, Flying, Fire)

  • Garbodor (weak to Psychic, Ground)


Best type is a Psychic here.



02) Julius the Gourmet uses:


  • Camerupt (weak to Water, Ground)

  • Pyroar (weak to Water, Rock, Fighting, Ground)

  • Talonflame (weak to Water, Rock, Electric)


Best type is a Water here.



03) Sevra the Gourmet uses:


  • Carbink (weak to Steel, Water, Grass, Ground)

  • Clefable (weak to Steel, Poison)

  • Gardevoir (weak to Steel, Poison, Ghost)


Best type is a Steel here.



04) Perceval the Gourmet uses:


  • Avalugg (weak to Fighting, Rock, Fire, Steel)

  • Sableye (weak to Fairy)

  • Noivern (weak to Fairy, Rock, Dragon, Ice)


Best types are Fairy and Rock here. (Warning, these all have Rocky Helmet so attack from range)



05) Germain the Gourmet uses:


  • Kangaskhan (weak to Fighting)

  • Gengar (weak to Ground, Psychic, Ghost, Dark)

  • Steelix (weak to Fighting, Ground, Fire, Water)


Best types are Ground and Fighting here.



06) Estelle the Gourmet uses:


  • Scizor (weak to Fire)

  • Lucario (weak to Fire, Fighting, Ground)

  • Aegislash (weak to Fire, Ghost, Dark, Ground)


Best type is easily Fire here.



07) Fabia the Gourmet uses:


  • Aerodactyl (weak to Rock, Electric, Ice, Water, Steel)

  • Starmie (weak to Dark, Electric, Grass, Bug, Ghost)

  • Froslass (weak to Dark, Ghost, Rock, Fire, Steel)


Best types are Dark, Rock, and Steel here.



08) Paula the Gourmet uses:


  • Arbok (weak to Ground, Psychic)

  • Roserade (weak to Ice, Fire, Flying, Psychic)

  • Gogoat (weak to Ice, Fire, Flying, Bug, Poison)


Best types are Psychic, Ice, Fire, Flying, and Psychic.



09) Maisie the Gourmet uses:


  • Gyarados (weak to Electric, Rock)

  • Dragalge (weak to Psychic, Ground, Dragon, Ice)

  • Dragonite (weak to Fairy, Ground, Dragon, Ice)


Best types are Dragon then Ground (Gyarados will destroy ground type)



10) Christophe the Gourmet uses:


  • Drampa (weak to Fighting, Ice, Dragon, Fairy)

  • Skamory (weak to Electric, Fire)

  • Mega Tyranitar (weak to Fairy, Fighting, Ground, Grass, Bug, Water, Steel)


Best types are Fairy and Fighting but go with god here.



Well, hopefully that didn't take you as many tries as it took me but now my Pokemon are in the 80s when they started out in the 50s and 60s. So that SUCKED.
