Pokemon Legends: Z-A Guide "Side Mission 083 - Honedge's Cutting Edge"

For this one we're gonna fast travel to a spot in the north by the Pokecenter and look for a kid named Acier with a Honedge. He's telling his grandpa that his Honedge isn't feeling well and his grandpa reminds him that he needs a Pupitar.

Apparently slashing at it's incredibly hard body will sharpen the blade.

The kid then asks you if you have a Pupitar and, if so, if he can battle it.

You can find Larvitar's all over the city on various rooftops. Snag one and get it to level 30. I find a quick way is via Sushi High Roller.

Acier the Grade-Schooler's Honedge is level 53 though so you're going to have to REALLY train it up. Oh, and Honedge is weak to Ground and Dark so Crunch and Earthquake work well here. Remember, you can only bring the Larvitar into battle so dump potions on it because Honedge is going to hit its weaknesses right away.

Once you beat it, the folks thank you and that's it!
