Pokemon Legends: Z-A Guide "Main Mission 24 - Reaching Rank C"

NOTE: I went with a male presenting character so my character's bestie will be Taunie. If you went with one of the more female presenting ones you'll be friends with Urbain instead.

Earlier, Corbeau called you into his office to not only clear your debt but to have a battle with you. At the same time, your Z-A app goes off to let you know that you've been cleared for a Promotional Rank for (Rank D). Hey, guess who your opponent is.

Then the mission starts.

If you don't have a Challenger's Ticket you're going to have to get one of those bad boys. You need 38,000 points so it's going to be a moment.

Once you have it, head on back and talk to Philipe to get things rolling.

Corbeau starts the battle off with Arbok, Gyarados, Roserade, Scolipede which he Mega Evolves.

Arbok is weak to Psychic and Ground

Gyarados is weak to Grass, Electric, Fighting, Bug, and Fairy

Roserade is weak to Fire, Ice, Flying, and Psychic

Mega Scolipede is weak to Fire, Flying, Psychic, and Rock

So, obviously, having Psychic is a good choice here. My Mega Mawile did a lot of damage here.

Afterwards Corbeau lets you know how much he respects you (dude is becoming my favorite character) and, after you move up to Rank C, he gives you the TM100 Gunk Shot.

Once you're back at the hotel and hanging out with Team MZ Corbeau shows up and freaks everyone out as he requests a room and retires for the night. I guess your character is being a jerk and not letting anyone know the debt is paid off for some reason. But he gets a room and...that's it! Mission Complete! Congrats!
