Pokemon Legends: Z-A Guide "Main Mission 022 - A Rogue Mega Barbaracle"

NOTE: I went with a male presenting character so my character's bestie will be Taunie. If you went with one of the more female presenting ones you'll be friends with Urbain instead.

For this one, you're gonna head to the Southwestern area of the map and get on the building where you can see the Ampharos pictured. It's tricky but if you keep running around the perimeter you'll find scaffolding.

It's actually in the lower areas in the courtyard in the center, but I found the easiest way was take the holovator the Rust grunt hangs out at and run across the buildings and drop down.

Now, get ready to fight the big guy. Remember, Mega Barbarcle is weak to Grass, Steel, Fighting, and Fairy so grab your go to and go to it.

This fight SUCKS. The big guy will constantly be on you trying to hit you with physical blows. He'll also charge for a while and if you don't stun him before he attacks he'll teleport directly on you and rapidly punch for huge damage, or you can stun him and when he comes to he'll probably still punch you. He also occassionally throws beams, and creates a ton of smaller Pokemon to fight with him. Yuck to this fight.

For your trouble you'lre get Barbaracite and a healing from Lida. Oh, and a visit from Zyguarde and L. L tells you he has a theory that Quasartico Inc. has a connection to all the bad stuff that's been happening, winning him the biggest "yeah, no fooling" award in history.

Anyways, Mission Complete!
