Pokemon Legends: Z-A Guide "Main Mission 021 - A Rogue Mega Mawile"

NOTE: I went with a male presenting character so my character's bestie will be Taunie. If you went with one of the more female presenting ones you'll be friends with Urbain instead.

So, for this one we're going to be meeting Taunie to the far west where you can see the Mawile picture is located which is just south of Wild Zone 14 (the Electrical Substation).

Mawile is gonna be up on the roof at the corner of that triangular building. Luckily there's some scaffolding on the east side of the building.

Once up there, get a Fire or Ground type ready.

Taunie will heal you ahead of time so don't worry about hitting up a center first if you got hit on the way.

Maybe that ain't Mabeline

When you're in, watch out for Mawile's two main attacks. One is them teleporting right next to your trainer and slashing. The other involves them leaving the arena. They'll teleport out of the arena and then start firing crazy projectiles. The blue ones create a wave of explosions. They first row will hit far from Mawile which each row landing closer and closer. The pink ones will home in on you so get ready to dodge roll.

Also, while you're dodging, put the Pokemon back in it's ball or it'll run behind you and basically collect every single explosion with its face.

Once you're done you'll get a Mawilite for your troubles and Taunie will heal you up.
