She says it needs to learn Slash first and then throws out a Substitute asking you to demonstrate Slash on it.

Find a Pokemon that has it in your group, pretty much anything with claws learns it early, and use it on the Substitute.

Her Scyther learns Slash and Mirte opens up a shop for trimming Furfrou.
