Pokemon Legends: Z-A Guide "Side Mission 017 - A Shiny Mareep?"

This is part of our ongoing guide for Pokemon Legends: Z-A

You're going to want to head to this location and look for someone named Duve. She'll be standing near an enterance to Wild Zone 1 near two Mareep.

She tells you that she happened to see a Shiny Mareep! She asks if you'd be kind enough to go take a look so she knows she wasn't going crazy.

Head into Wild Zone 1 (right behind her) and head to where the Mareep are near the fence. Chances are they won't be shiny. But behind them are two massive rocks. Hit them right Rock Smash and go into the fenced in area. You'll see a ladder to your left. Once you get up it, you'll find ANOTHER ladder to your left. Go up that.

Once up you'll enter a cutscene and, sure enough, there on the roof, one purple floof.

Duve is overjoyed and thanks you and afterwards you get to capture yourself an almost guaranteed shiny as it goes right to sleep during the cut scene and stays that way. I put it in a Heal Ball for the aesthetics.

Mission Complete! Enjoy the gold and Pretty Feathers...and a free shiny Pokemon!
