Pokemon Legends: Z-A Guide "Main Mission 07 - Reaching Rank W"

This is part of our walkthrough guide for the entire Pokemon Legends Z-A!

The mission starts with Nazeen accepting to battle you in exchange for the story on why he joined Team MZ despite his antisocial behavior.

Meet him out in the courtyard where he and Lida are waiting for you and engage in the battle.

Naveen sends out Spinarak, Sableye, and his trusted Scraggy. Just remember Flying Type, Fairy Type, and Fighting Type and you'll be fine.

Afterwards Naveen reveals that his reason for joining is that he wanted to pursue fashion over academics. His grandma, I'm assuming catching him handing out nasty ass Trilby hats, told him no and got rid of all his sewing equipment so he joined Team MZ so he could have a room of his own where he can create in peace.

As he and Lida leave, your phone goes off to let you know you're ready to move up to Rank W. You'll be going up against a kid named Xavi (I know last guide I called Xavier but I was close, I bet the next one will be Wally). To beat him you're going to have to earn 4000 points so you're going to need to get to work.

Knock out some side missions and wait for the Battle Zones to open. When they do, watch for the special Battle Tickets. They'll give you additional goals to earn more points. If you see from this screen, getting a lot of them done during a battle can give you a lot more points.

Once you get it go ahead and find Xavi. You can find him in the middle of the school, cause he's a child, and engage. Just when you feel bad that he's so little he starts dropping X puns so hard your guilt goes away.

Ask your doctor if "hitting a child" is right for me.

When you battle he'll throw out a Venipede, Kadabra, Roselia, and finally a Furfrou. Be warned if you got a water type, that Furfrou has Thunder Bite. Both me and my Croconaw were CrocoNOT ready for it and he almost had me.

Defeat him and while he runs off somewhere you move up to Rank W for "Whatever lil' kid."

And with that, it's Mission Complete! Good work.
